The 74 meter long ro-ro ferry Brandal allided with a quay at Halsa, Norway.  The Brandal was proceeding too fast and was unable to stop before it struck the dock.   The quay suffered only a small amount of damage, but the vessel had to reverse to unload vehicles as the ferry’s gate was damaged in the allision.   No reports of injuries or pollution released.
