The 135 meter long passenger ferry Trollfjord struck the bridge at Tromsø, Norway. The Trollfjord had departed from Tromsø and turned north with it hit the bridge with its stern.  Afterwards, the ferry returned to Tromsø where inspection found a large dent, but no water ingress.  One passenger of the 317 on board was taken to hospital with a minor injury.  Traffic on the Tromsø Bridge was halted so it could be inspected.  Reports state the bridge had only slight damage.  Authorities tested the officer on duty for alcohol and launched an investigation into the incident.
