The 74 foot long fishing vessel Privateer sank off Grays Harbor, Washington. The Privateer had sustained uncontrolled flooding through an 8 inch hole in the hull.  The vessel requested assistance with the Coast Guard dispatching a Motor Life Boat to the scene. The Lifeboat safely transferred the three crew off the Privateer before the fishing vessel sank. No reports of injuries.
No pollution reported, but the vessel had a  maximum fuel capacity of 6,000 gallons. The cause of the sinking is under investigation.
