Skulbaren

The 36 meter long fishing vessel Skulbaren went aground off Årviksand, Norway.  The Skulbaren had arrived at Årviksand earlier and unloaded a cargo of pollock.   As the vessel departed, it became stuck on a sandy shoal off the end of the piers.   The Skulbaren was able to refloat itself with the rising tide and proceeded on its way.   No reports of injuries or damage to the fishing vessel.   Local reports state the harbour had not been dredge and that multiple vessels have run aground during the year.
