The 81 foot fishing vessel Captain Joe became disabled while off Cape Ann, Massachusetts.   The Captain Joe’s crew discovered that the vessel was taking on water with 6 feet in the bilge.  The crew contacted the Coast Guard for assistance.   The Coast Guard launched a 47-foot lifeboat along with a Jayhawk helicopter to the scene.  The helicopter reached the scene and lowered a dewatering pump to the trawler.  The lifeboat then escorted the Captain Joe back to Gloucester.   No reports of injuries of the four men on board the fishing vessel.
