The 80 meter long ro-ro ferry Røsund becamed disabled while berthed at a quay in Skarberget, Norway.  Two lorries were loaded on the vessel and their weight caused the ferry to list to starboard. The sudden list caused the ramp to fall into the water.  One passenger fell overboard into the sea. The crew Røsund were able to get counterweights set and level the vessel again. No reports of damage or pollution released.

The 80 meter long ro-ro ferry Roesund went aground at Tjøtta, Norway.  The ferry was navigating towards the dock when the vessel’s rudder struck bottom.   No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.  Divers inspected the Roesund for damage.   Reports state the ferry traffic was halted between Tjøtta and Forvik while the Roesund was inspected.
