Lady Lou

The 24 meter long fishing vessel Lady Lou became disabled in the English Channel off Start Point near Dartmouth, Cornwall. The Lady Lou had its gearbox fail causing the vessel to go adrift. Caught in heavy swells in a southeast gale, the Lady Lou requested assistance. The RNLI all-weather lifeboats from Salcombe and Torbay responded. The Torbay lifeboat towed the Lady Lou to Brixham. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.
