Medkem Three

The 110 meter long, 3,746 dwt tanker Medkem Three ran aground on the Ouse River near Faxfleet, England. The tanker was proceeding to Goole on the Ouse during low tide when it struck a mud bank. The tanker was unable to free itself.  A tug was requested and was able to refloat the Medkem Three on the rising tide. The vessel was inspected and allowed to resume its voyage to Goole. Collision on the Humber

The 140 meter long, 5000 dwt car carrier City of Rotterdam collided with the 200 meter long,  10,407 dwt ro-ro passenger ferry Primula Seaways on the Humber near Immingham,  England. The Primula Seaways was coming from Rotterdam with 25 persons in bad weather with strong winds and heavy rains.  As it approached the Humber, the Primula Seaways struck head-on with the City of Rotterdam.
