The fishing vessel  Fredwood BA338 sank in Maryport harbour, England. The vessel had arrived in harbour the day before and had unloaded its catch when the incoming tide swamped the vessel.   Unable to control the flooding the Fredwood developed a list to port and partially sank.  The RNLI assisted in rescuing the four crew on board while the Maryport fire brigade aided with a dewatering pump. No reports of injuries. Reports state the vessel’s hull may have been punctured which allowed the water ingress.

The 5,928 dwt ro-ro cargo vessel Stena Scotia allided with a pylon in Killingholme, England. The vessel scraped against the pylon sustaining multiple dents and scratches along the length of the starboard hull.  No reports of injuries or pollution released.
