The 49 foot long fishing vessel CKS ran aground and partially sunk off Sheep Island near Milford Haven, Wales.  The CKS had run onto the rocks off Rat Island near the entrance of the Milford Haven Waterway. The hull was damaged and the fishing vessel suffered water ingress.  The crew sent out a distress call with the RNLI lifeboat responding.  The lifeboat arrived a short time later finding the CKS aground in the shallows in a nearby bay.  The lifeboat…

Wight Sun

The 62 meter long ro-ro passenger ferry Wight Sun ran aground at Lymington. The Wight Sun found itself stuck in the mud during a low tide.  The ferry remained stuck for several hours until the rising tide. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.
