On September 11, the 40 meter long, 300 tonne passenger ship Erasmus caught fire on the Thames near Canary Wharf, London. The Erasmus was on an afternoon cruise with 142 passengers when a small fire ignited in the vessel’s engine room. Stena Scotia

The 5,928 dwt ro-ro cargo vessel Stena Scotia allided with a pylon in Killingholme, England. The vessel scraped against the pylon sustaining multiple dents and scratches along the length of the starboard hull.  No reports of injuries or pollution released.
