Dover Seaways
The 186 meter long, 6874 dwt ro-ro passenger ferry Dover Seaways struck the harbour breakwall while departing Dover, England. The Dover Seaways, loaded with 320 passengers, headed out of the harbour around 8 a.m. on a regular run to Dunkirk. As the ferry attempted to turn to pass through the harbour entrance it struck the breakwall. The ferry sustained some bow damage while the breakwater sustained scrapes. The Dover Seaways returned back to its berth in the Eastern Docks in Dover….
