The 15 meter long fishing vessel New Venture K112 ran aground on Seal skerry off Eday Island, Orkney Islands. The New Venture had run aground in strong tides and was pushed onto the rocks. The three crew on board contacted authorities. The Kirkwall RNLI lifeboat was dispatched to the scene. The lifeboat found the New Venture listing to starboard, but not taking on water.
