Edward Henry DH100

The 25 meter long fishing vessel Edward Henry – DH 100 became disabled off the Shetland Islands near Sumburgh. The crab boat had gone adrift and suffered a power blackout when the vessel’s engines failed. While the crew attempted to restore power, the Edward Henry was struck by a large wave along the starboard side. Resolute

Resolute

The 65 meter long fishing vessel Resolute loaded with herring became disabled off Fair Isle, Shetland Islands. The Resolute had suffered engine failure and went adrift. The trawler Forever Grateful took the Resolute under tow and proceeded to Lerwick, Shetland Islands. At Lerwick, two tugs took over the tow and proceeded into the harbour.  No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.
