The high speed ferry Wahana Empat suffered an explosion just shortly after leaving port off Senggigi, Lambok, Indonesia. The ferry was loaded with 129 passengers bound for Bali and reached 10 miles off the port of Senggigi when the blast occurred. Some 19 people were injured with some with broken bones. All on board were safely evacuated by authorities to Senggigi. The cause of the explosion was not yet known.
Workboat Allision

Reports state a workboat struck the lift-bridge over the Gouwe River near Waddinxveen, Netherlands. The workboat was passing under the bridge when part of the vessel was caught underneath. The allision cause metal to sheer away injuring one person on board the workboat. The bridge sustained damage and was closed to traffic. Reports state a crane will be needed to repair the bridge.
Wilson Hamburg
The 91 meter long general cargo vessel Wilson Hamburg allided with the lock gate in the Kiel Canal at Brunsbüttel, Germany. The Wilson Hamburg was headed to Szcecin from Saint Malo. As the vessel approached the northern lock in dense fog at Brunsbüttel, it struck the inward gate resulting in damage to gate. No reports of injuries or pollution released. The Wilson Hamburg proceeded to a quay until authorities could complete an investigation into the incident.
