The 98 meter long cargo vessel Xin Hong Xiang 59 struck a bridge over the Haihe River near Tianjin, China. The Xin Hong Xiang 59 failed to wait for the swing bridge to fully raise when it struck with its superstructure. The vessel had part of the bridge damaged while its mast was destroyed. Reports state the bridge sustained minor damage that was quickly repaired. No reports of injuries or pollution released.
Xin Fei Zhou

The 321 meter long, 102379 dwt container ship Xin Fei Zhou allided with the lock wall of the Agua Clara Locks, Panama. The boxship suffered a small gash along its hull above the waterline. The lock only sustained slight damage and traffic was not impacted by the incident. The Xin Fei Zhou was allowed to proceed on its voyage.

The 146 meter long, 15302 dwt container ship Xetha Bhum allided with the embankment on the Chao Praya River in the Phra Pradaeng District, Bangkok, Thailand. The Xetha Bhum was departing for a voyage to Singapore when it lost control and struck the embankment. The boxship sustained multiple hull breaches in the bow and sustained water ingress. No reports of injuries. The Xetha Bhum was inspected and allowed to be refloated. The Xetha Bhum was towed by two tugs back into port for repairs. The Coast Guard and local authorities have launched an investigation into incident.
