The motor vessel Glory collided with a pier under the Volodarsky Bridge. The vessel was sailing from St. Petersburg to Azerbaijan. Reports state some damage to naviagtion equipment, but no pollution was released or crew injured.
The motor container vessel Basel went aground on a sand bank near Moreton Island, Australia. The vessel left Brisbane bound for Singapore when it ran aground. Reports state the vessel was able to be freed with the tide and will be inspected.
