The 16 meter long fishing vessel Pierre de Jade became disabled off Cape Anifer, France.  The trawler had gone adrift after its propeller was fouled by a net. The vessel requested assistance with the French naval vessel Cassiopée responding.  The Cassiopée sent several divers to clear the net away from the propeller and shaft.  After the work completed, the Pierre de Jade restored propulsion and proceeded to Port-en-Bessin.  No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.

The 27 meter long fishing vessel Geir Roger became disabled under a bridge at Tromsø, Norway. The  Geir Roger was pushed against the bridge piers by strong winds and strong currents and began to list. The NSSR lifeboats were dispatched to the scene. The nearby vessel Barents Ocean arrived on scene and was able to pull the Geir Roger past the bridge.  Authorities later inspected the fishing vessel for damage.

On March 11, the 104 meter long, 6532 dwt general cargo vessel Eastern Amber capsized in East China Sea off Jeju Island, South Korea.  On March 4, the Eastern Amber had been damaged by a collision and its 18 crew had abandoned ship. The Eastern Amber was taken under tow by a salvage tug and proceeded back to port. However, the Eastern Amber continue to flood and eventually lost stability and rolled over.  No reported of injuries.
