The 65 meter long ro-ro passenger ferry Frisia II ran aground between the island of Juist and Norddeich, Germany.  The ferry was proceeding with 650 passengers when it became stuck in the low water level.  The Frisia II remained stuck for 12 hours until the rising tide allowed the ferry to be refloated. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.

The 13 meter long workboat Borebas ran aground off the island of  Ryøya near Tromsø, Norway.  The Borebas suffered water ingress, but neither of the two crew on board were injured.  Two fishing vessels came to the aid of the Borebas until a lifeboat arrived on scene. A dewatering pump was delivered while booms were placed around the Borebas to contain any pollution released.

The 82 meter long hopper dredger Ruyter became disabled off Dishoek, Netherlands. The Ruyter had suffered engine failure and required assistance. Two tugs were dispatched and towed the Ruyter to Flushing where it berthed in the Walcheren Canal. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.
