The 107 meter long, 6090 dwt chemical tanker FT Foce allided with the moored 99 meter long, 4512 dwt LPG tanker Happy Eagle at Ceuta, Spain. The FT Foce was departing from Ceuta when it suffered engine failure while doing a maneuver. The FT Foce struck the starboard hull of the Happy Eagle sustaining bow damage. The Happy Eagle suffered minor damage with multiple dents and damage to its railings. No reports of injuries or pollution released.

The 114 meter long cargo vessel Bellatrix ran aground in the Azov Sea near Yeysk, Russia. The Bellatrix was departing from Yeysk with a cargo of 3298 tons of corn when it blown out of the navigation channel and ran aground. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released. The Bellatrix was later refloated with the aid of multiple tugs and proceeded to moor at a nearby outer anchorage.

On December 2, the 169 meter long, 27776 dwt bulk carrier Antaios caught fire in the South Atlantic between Argentina and South Africa. The fire started in the vessel’s engine room which resulted in a hull breach and water ingress. The Antaios sent out a distress call that was received by the NSU Inspire. The NSU Inspire arrived on site and rescued the 19 crew. No reports of injuries. The NSU Inspire proceeded to Cape Town where the Antaios crew was to disembark. The status of the Antaios was not known.
