On April 13, the 130 meter long ro-ro ferry Raunefjord became disabled off Hallhjem, Norway. The ferry had departed from Sandvikvåg bound for Halhjem when it suffered engine problems. The ferry sat in the bay for a short period until the crew was able to restart the engine. The Raunefjord proceeded to Hallhjem at reduced speed. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.

On April 12, the 21 meter long fishing vessel L’Eden Roc II ran aground on the shoal Plateau du Four  4 miles off the coast from Croisic, France. The  L’Eden Roc II requested assistance with the SNSM lifeboat from Croisic responding. The lifeboat arrived a short time later and was able to pull the fishing vessel off the shoal.  The  L’Eden Roc II was able to proceed under its own power to La Turballe escorted by the SNSM lifeboat. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.

The 11 meter long fishing vessel Kevin became disabled off Yttersia near Ramberg, Norway. The Kevin had suffered engine failure and went adrift. The crew requested assistance with the NSSR lifeboat responding. The lifeboat took the Kevin under tow and proceeded to Ballstad. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.
