The 180 meter long, 29192 dwt bulk freighter Agios Nikolaos went aground off Lavion, Greece. The vessel was able to be refloated the same day and proceeded to Anayvssos for inspection. The Agios Nikolaos was en route from Egypt to the Black Sea in ballast at the time. No reports of injuries or pollution being released.

The 21 meter long fishing vessel Ann Brita became disabled off Sørvågen, Norway. The vessel had it’s propeller fouled by fishing equipment. The vessel contacted authorities and a Norwegian Sea Rescue lifeboat was dispatched to the scene. The Ann Brita was taken under tow near Moskenes. A diver proceeded to clear the propeller. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.
Adler I
The 14 meter long ferry Adler I went aground on the Kiel Canal near Holtenau, Germany. The vessel was en route from Wik when it attempted to berth. Two earlier attempts had missed the pier and the third attempt ran the vessel onto the embankment. The vessel was able to refloat itself and later docked. The water police conducted an investigation with drug and alcohol tests negative. The Adler I will be inspected for damage by divers the next day. No reports of injuries or pollution being released.
