The 289 meter long, 62681 dwt container ship Hanjin Osaka became disabled shortly after departing from Busan, South Korea.  The vessel had suffered an engine failure shortly after leaving Busan.   No further details reported.

Hanse Spirit

The 142 meter long, 9654 dwt container ship Hanse Spirit became disabled on the Elbe River after suffering an engine failure.  The vessel dropped anchor and requested assistance.   A tug towed the Hanse Spirit to Cuxhaven where it berthed and will undergo repairs.  No reports of injuries, damage or pollution being released.

Hein

The 62 meter long, 1065 dwt freighter Hein went aground onto an embankment on the Kiel canal near Schülp, Germany.  The freighter was refloated later the same day and the vessel proceeded to berth at Rendsburg.  No reports of injuries, damage, or pollution being released.  The Hein was scheduled to sail from Brake to Falkenberg.
