The 81 meter long, 3030 dwt cargo vessel Jongleur allided with a bridge at Gothenburg, Sweden. The Jongleur was passing under the Gota Alvbron Bridge when its mast struck the bridge. Traffic was halted until inspectors could survey the bridge the following day. No reports of injuries and damage was limited to a bent mast on the Jongleur. Traffic was resumed on the bridge and the Jongleur continued on its voyage.
Juno

The 190 meter long, 30185 dwt bulk carrier Juno ran aground on the St. Lawrence River near the Thousand Islands Bridge near Alexandria Bay, New York. The Juno was proceeding with a cargo of sugar when it ran hard aground after suffering a steering failure. The Juno sustained damage to one of the forward ballast tanks resulting in water ingress. Traffic was halted on the St. Lawrence River around the incident. No reports of injuries or pollution released. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.

Joyce Lynn II

On March 13, the 63 foot long fishing vessel Joyce Lynn II ran aground on sandy beach of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The crab boat had struck rocks along the off Port Everglades sustaining hull damage and water ingress. The Joyce Lynn II requested assistance with a Coast Guard boat responding. The four crew jumped off the crab boat onto the rescue boat. One man sustained minor injuries. The Joyce Lynn II later washed ashore. Initial attempts to refloat the vessel failed.
