The 101 meter long, 7732 dwt freighter King Ace became disabled in Yellow Sea near Dalian, China. The King Ace had suffered engine failure shortly after leaving port. The crew dropped anchor until the vessel could be towed back to Dalian. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.
Key Fighter
The 94 meter long, 4999 dwt tanker Key Fighter allided with the quay at Fynsværket, Denmark. The tanker was headed to Odense when it crashed into the dock. No reports of injuries or any pollution released. The Key Fighter was able to continue on to Odense. Authorities were notified of the incident. Reports state a pilot was on board at the time of allision.
Kaiserberg

The 105 meter long self-propelled barge Kaiserberg collided with the self-propelled barge Anna on the IJssel near Zutphen, Netherlands. The Kaiserberg had become disabled due to a power failure and drifted onto the right river bank. The current pulled the Kaiserberg perpendicular swinging the vessel into the path of the Anna. The Kaiserberg suffered damage to its stern while the Anna suffered damage to its bow. No reports of injuries on either vessel. Traffic was blocked on the IJssel for a short period until tugs were requested to refloat the Kaiserberg and tow it to Eefde. The Kaisenberg was loaded with 1200 tons of feed while the Anna was loaded with salt at the time of the collision.
