Lobster Boat Stranded

The fishing vessel Supersaver was catching lobster when it was struck by waves and push onto a sandbar in Malpeque Harbour, Prince Edwards Island, Canada.   The 4 crew on board were battered by strong winds and waves until a Canadian Coast Guard was able to rescue them.   All the crew were wet and cold, but were uninjured.    Last report stated the Supersaver was swamped and still on the sandbar.

Lucia Celeste

The 45 foot fishing vessel Lucia Celeste was reported disabled and adrift north of San Benedicto Island, Mexico (19 45N, 110 48W).   Reports state there are 17 crewmen on board.

Lady Mary Adrift

The 1530 dwt freighter Lady Mary was reported adrift and disabled between Turkey and Cyprus (35 49.8N 033 06.0E) due to the vessel running out of fuel.  No further details reported.
