On the early morning of September 16, the 89 meter long, 4705 dwt cargo vessel Day Blue (IMO: 9184811) became disabled on the Dardanelles Strait off the coast of Karanfil Burnu, Turkey. The Day Blue was headed to Italy from Kocaeli when it experienced a mechanical breakdown in the strait. Authorities dispatched the KEGM tugboat Türkeli to assist.  The tugboat took the Day Blue under tow and proceeded to Karanlık Liman where it safely anchored.  No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.

On the afternoon of September 8, the ro-ro passenger ferry Dwarka 7 became disabled  on the Mandovi River off Chorao Island, India. The Dwarka 7 was proceeding on its regular route between Ribandar and Chorao when it became disabled off Chorao.  The ferry had entangled a rope around its propeller and required assistance.

The Dwarka 7 was towed to Chorao where passengers were disembarked safely.  The ferry was then taken out of service and towed to a maintenance facility for repairs. No reports of injuries or pollution released. Reports state it is not uncommon for the river to be full of debris during monsoon season. The Dwarka 7 first started service in 2025. The ferry had been running only a few months prior to this incident.

On the morning of September 11, a 23-meter tugboat (name not disclosed) became disabled in the Sea of Marmara off Yeşilköy, Turkey. Authorities were alerted the tugboat was adrift off the coast.  The KEGM dispatched the 36 meter long tugboat Kurtarma 3 (IMO: 9335939) to the scene.  The Kurtarma 3 took the tugboat   taken under tow and proceeded safely to the Avcılar İDO Pier. There were no reports of injuries to the 2 crew, damage or pollution released.
