On April 20, the 750 dwt barge Fomento Pausha sank in the Arabian Sea off Goa, India. The barge had been at an anchorage when it suffered uncontrolled water ingress and sank.  All four crew on board were rescued. No reports of injuries. Reports state the barge was owned by the DesaGoa.

The 74 foot long fishing vessel Privateer sank off Grays Harbor, Washington. The Privateer had sustained uncontrolled flooding through an 8 inch hole in the hull.  The vessel requested assistance with the Coast Guard dispatching a Motor Life Boat to the scene. The Lifeboat safely transferred the three crew off the Privateer before the fishing vessel sank. No reports of injuries.
No pollution reported, but the vessel had a  maximum fuel capacity of 6,000 gallons. The cause of the sinking is under investigation.

The 73 meter long, 2300 dwt cargo vessel Bunga Melati XV sank in Celebes Sea in Port Tagulandang, Sulawesi Island, Indonesia. The Bunga Melati XV, loaded with 2400 tons of cement,  had run onto a reef.  The hull was breached in multiple places and the vessel suffered water ingress.  No reports of injuries. The vessel continued to flood until it hull rest on the bottom leaving only the top of the bridge above water.
