On February 3, the 55 meter long platform Sea Worker capsized off Hvide Sande, Denmark. The Sea Worker had been aground since January 27 while being towed to an offshore wind turbine site. Reports state the platform had on board both light fuel oil and lubricating oil and a small sheen was spotted, but authorities state there is no risk of a large oil spill. No reports of injuries. The Sea Worker was to be inspected for damage to see if the platform was too far damaged to be salvaged.

The general cargo vessel Myskhako went aground in the Volga-Caspian Channel with 5197 tons of steel cargo. The vessel was heading from the Volga delta city of Astrakhan, Russia for Bandar-e Anzali (Enzeli), Iran. Reports state the vessel requires tug assistance to be refloated.

The general cargo freighter Cherokee went aground on the river Don near the town of Lisichansk. The vessel was carrying a cargo of scrap bound for Rostov-on-Don.
