Fortuna
The 87 meter long, 3735 dwt freighter Fortuna went aground near Askø, Denmark. The Fortuna was en route to Bandholm from Rønne with 3,000 tons of gravel when it grounded. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released. Initial attempts to refloat the Fortuna on the next high tide failed. Another vessel was brought to the scene to lightered some cargo before attempting to refloat the vessel again.
