The 183 meter long, 46769 dwt bulk freighter Emily Manx allided on the Weser with the quay at Bremen, Germany.  The quay suffered on scratches while the vessel suffered a 30 foot dent along its hull.   No reports of injuries or pollution released.  Authorities have detained the vessel while the incident is under investigation.

Bremen formerly named Accurat

The 31 meter long tug Bremen became disabled in the North Sea.   The Bremen had left Hamburg for Trieste when it suffered propulsion problems and required assistance.   The tug Fairplay XII took the Bremen under tow into Rotterdam where the it is berthed in Merwede Harbour.  No reports of injury or pollution being released.

Zapadnyy Allision

Zapadnyy Allision

 

 

The 3297 dwt tanker Zapadnyy allided with a floating dock at the Lurssen Yard located on the Weser River near Bremen, Germany.   Another vessel had tried to pass by the Zapadnyy at the bend of the river forcing the Zapadnyy to veer off into the floating dock.   The dock was knocked from its moorings and pushed 200 meters downstream.   The Zapadnyy suffered severe damage to the foreship including water ingress requiring the vessel to be intentionally run aground.    Three tugs were called to push the dock back to its position.
