The 68 meter long, 2818 dwt freighter Torvang suffered damage while en route to Kristiansund from Sunndalsøra.  The freighter arrived in Kristiansund. when the crew discovered the vessel had suffered water ingress in the cargo hold.   A small gash was found on the starboard bow just below the waterline.   The crew requested assistance from the local fire brigade who brought dewatering pumps and divers to the scene.   The divers were able to patch the hole while the pumps cleared the hold of water.  No reports of injuries or pollution being released.

Floatel Superior

The 90 meter, 17702 dwt oil accommodation rig Floatel Superior became damaged in the Norwegian Sea while attached to the oil rig Njord A.   The Floatel Superior had suffered water ingress after a ballast tank was holed by an anchor.   The rig developed a list from the water ingress.   Owners had 326 of the 374 crew evacuated by helicopters while emergency personnel stabilized the rig.   The crew was able to get the Floatel Superior back on an even keel.   The rig was detached from the Njord A and taken under tow by tugs and rescue vessels to Kristiansund for repairs.  No reports of injuries or pollution released.

Fortunagracht

The 137 meter long freighter Fortunagracht suffered water ingress while moored at Antwerp, Belgium.  The freighter had suffered a leak in the cargo hold causing the vessel to list to port against the quay.    The local fire brigade along with two tugs assisted keeping the Fortunagracht while the crew made repairs.   Reports state a portion of the cargo had fallen into the hold piercing the hull.   No reports of injuries or pollution released.
