The 20 meter long fishing vessel Lambert Gre 37 ran aground off Sylt, Germany.  The Lamert Gre 37 was fishing when its gear got stuck on the bottom pulling the vessel a round.  The master of the vessel decided to beach the vessel rather than striking the nearby groynes.  The vessel became stuck as the tide receded.  The DGzRS was alerted and dispatched a lifeboat to the scene.  The lifeboat crew was able to connect a towline and pull the Lambert Gre 37 from the shallows.  The vessels proceded to Havneby upon Rømø Island.  No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.

The 24 meter long fishing vessel Klazina became disabled near Sylt, Germany.  The Klazina had suffered engine damage and the vessel had gone adrift.  The crew requested assistance with the DGzRS responding.  The DGzRS dispatched a lifeboat to the scene.  The lifeboat was able to take the Klazina under tow and proceeded safely to Havneby.  No reports of injuries or pollution released.

The 24 meter long passenger ferry Holstentor 1 caught fire while  berthed in the port of Grömitz aus ungeklärter Ursache in Brand.   The DGzRS dispatched a lifeboat to the scene who supported the local fire brigade in extinguishing the blaze.   No reports of injuries.   The cause of the fire was not yet known.
