The passenger vessel Red Star 201 became disabled on the Dong River near Huizhou City, China. The Red Star 201 was underway to avoid Typhoon Haima when it suffered a power blackout. The vessel requested assistance with the Huizhou Maritime Safety Administration responding. Authorities dispatched a patrol boat to the scene and secured the Red Star 201. No reports of injuries to the four crew of the Red Star 201. The Red Star 201 was towed back to Huizhou. No damages or pollution released.

On September 27, the 72 meter long, 2023 dwt bunkering tanker Dae Yang No. 3 allided with a bridge in the Yellow Sea in the Shinan Islands, South Korea. The tanker was en route from Gunsang to Yeosu with fuel when it suffered a power blackout. Unable to slow down, the Dae Yang No. 3 struck the bridge. No reports of injuries. Only minor damage  to the tanker was reported.

The 23 meter long fishing vessel Simon Albert WR 80 became disabled off Den Helder, Netherlands. The shrimper had gone adrift after its propeller had been fouled by a net. The crew alerted the KNRM who dispatched a lifeboat from Den Helder. The lifeboat took the Simon Albert under tow back to the Den Helder. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released. Reports state the net was cleared from the propeller at the quay.
