The 70 foot long fishing vessel Inseiner became disabled in the Pacific Ocean near Depoe Bay, Oregon. The Inseiner had sent out a distress call that the fishing vessel was taking on water and was in need of assistance.  The Coast Guard dispatched a helicopter and the 47 foot Motor Lifeboat from Depoe Bay to the scene.  The helicopter arrived first and dropped a dewatering pump. The Lifeboat arrived a short time later with another pump. The Lifeboat escorted the Inseiner to Yaquina Bay.  No reports of injuries to the 2 crew on board.  Reports state the weather conditions were rough with 8 foot swells and a strong winds.

The 31 foot long fishing vessel Shekinah 2 ran aground just off the shore of Alamagan Island in the Northern Mariana Islands.  The Shekinah 2 had run onto the rocks just 100 yards off the uninhabited island. Authorities in Guam were alerted and dispatched a patrol vessel to the scene. Rescuers had to travel nearly 300 miles to reach the Shekinah 2. The 110 foot long USCGC Assateague arrived and safely rescued all six crew off the fishing vessel.  No reports of injuries.

The 10 meter long fishing vessel Ramsoyfjord went aground off Hustadvika, Norway. The vessel requested assistance with the NSSR lifeboat responding.  The NSSR lifeboat was able to refloat the Ramsoyfjord and towed the vessel to Kristiansund.  In Kristiansund, divers inspected the hull for damage. No reports of injuries or pollution released.
