Hagland Saga
The 4530 dwt freighter Hagland Saga went aground on Knubbehausen reef on the approach to Kragerø, Norway. The vessel was able to refloat herself and proceeded to port under its own power. Three out of the eight crewmen were injured and were later taken to a hospital in Kragerø. No reports of pollution being released. The cause of the accident is somewhat a mystery as the reef is clearly marked with a light. Officials from the Maritime Affairs will conduct an investigation into the accident.
