The fishing vessel Atlantic Breeze ran aground near the entrance to Nassau Sound near Jacksonville, Florida on June 5, 2012. The fishing vessel suffered water ingress and The Coast Guard rescued the three crew on board the Atlantic Breeze and took them safely ashore. The Atlantic Breeze later capsized and sank. The Atlantic Breeze was later salvaged by MOBRO Marine and Thomas Contracting. The fishing vessel was safely removed from the sound on July 5. The salvage was delayed by tropical storm Debby for 10 days.
