Karma
The 21 foot long fishing vessel Karma caught fire near Vannvåg, Norway. The fire broke out while the six crew on board were asleep. The crew awoke to heavy smoke and attempted to extinguish the fire. The crew had nearly put the fire out when it flared up again. Local fire brigade was called and got the fire under control. No reports of injuries. The vessel suffered extensive damage. Authorities had some concerns of pollution being released as some 6 tons of oil was on board at the time, but the Karma remained afloat after the fire.
