The 23 meter long, 122 gt fishing vessel Kingfisher became disabled near Den Helder, Netherlands. The trawler had departed from a nearby shipyard when it suffered engine failure.  The crew requested assistance with the Den Helder KNRM lifeboat dispatched to the scene.

The lifeboat reached the Kingfisher and was able to attach a towline. Another lifeboat from Oudeschild arrived to assist steering the trawler into port. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.

Reports state the crew were able to make repairs and continue on its voyage.

On April 11, the 23 meter long fishing vessel De Cocksdorp became disabled in the Eierlandse Gat between Texel and Vlieland, Netherlands. The Shrimper could not recover its gear and requested assistance. The KNRM lifeboat from De Cocksdorp was dispatched to the scene. The lifeboat was able to assist the crew in recovering its gear allowing the Gerittje WR 181 to proceed back to Harlingen. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.

The 22 meter long fishing vessel Fetske – LO14 became disabled off Schiermonnikoog, Netherlands. The Fetske had suffered engine failure and had gone adrift. The crew requested assistance with the KNRM lifeboat from Lauwersoog responding. The KNRM lifeboat took the Fetske under tow and proceeded to bring the fishing vessel back to port. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.
