On November 27, the 80 meter long self-propelled barge Speranza (MMSI: 244670229) ran aground on the IJssel near Westervoort, Netherlands. The Speranza loaded with sand and gravel had stranded due to undisclosed reasons and sustained water ingress. The local fire brigade responded to the scene and used pumps to de-water the vessel.  Authorities had to halt traffic until the Speranza was refloated. The vessel later proceeded two kilometers north of the incident location where it will be inspected. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.

On the night of November 13, the 90 meter long self-propelled container barge Gouwenaar II (MMSI: 244140389) allided on the Nieuwe Gouwe with a fender of the Amalia Bridge at Gouda, Netherlands. Authorities arrived on scene and conducted an investigation. The investigation found the Gouwenaar II sustained slight damage to its bow with the bridge was undamaged from the incident. No reports of injuries and no pollution was released.

On the evening of November 12, the 108.5 meter long self-propelled barge Omega (MMSI: 244770363) caught fire on the Twentekanaal at the port of Goor, Netherlands. The Omega was hauling a cargo of scrap metal when a fire broke out in the cargo.  The vessel berthed at a quay where the local fire brigade were called to fight the blaze. Firefighters deployed a crane over the vessel and spray foam over the burning cargo until the fire was brought under control.

No reports of injuries to the crew of the Omega or the fire fighters. The extent of damage was not disclosed.
