The 34 meter long fishing vessel Skjongholm became disabled while berthed in Måløy, Norway. The propeller of the Skjongholm had run afoul of ropes requiring divers.  The NSSR lifeboat arrived on scene with drivers and were able to remove the ropes by the following day. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.

On November 17, the 23 meter long high speed catamaran ferry Rygercruise became disabled on the Rødne Fjord, Norway. The Rygercruise was en route from Mostraumen to Bergen when a 100 meters of rope fouled one of the two propellers.

The vessel contacted authorities which dispatched the Coast Guard vessel Tyr to the scene. The Tyr took the Rygercruise under tow and proceeded to Bergen. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.

The 40 meter long, 150 dwt ro-ro passenger ferry Karlsøy ran aground along the southern tip of Vangsøy Island, Norway. The Karlsøy was en route to Belvika with 6 passengers when it veered off course and ran ashore. No reports of injuries. The ferry was refloated a few hours later and proceeded to Belvika. The Karlsøy then proceeded on to Tromsø for further surveys and repairs. No reports of pollution released.  The cause of the grounding was not released.
