The 64 meter long ro-ro passenger ferry Heilhorn ran aground near  Sandvikvåg, Norway.  The vessel was just a short distance from the pier when passengers heard a loud thud followed by a grinding noise.  The Heilhorn had run hard aground on an offshore rock. The 13 passengers on board were evacuated to the ferry  Raunefjord assisted by a lifeboat. No reports of injuries. The Heilhorn was later refloated assisted by a lifeboat and proceeded to Sandvikvåg.

The 67 meter long, 1321 dwt cargo vessel Nyfjell ran aground off Risøya, Norway.  The Nyfjell was en route to Nordfjordeid with a cargo of gravel from Floro when it went aground. No reports of injuries to the five crew on board. Two tugboats were dispatched to the scene to help refloat the vessel.The tug boats were able refloat the vessel and tow the Nyfjell to Måløy.  An inspection found the Nyfjell sustained some damage and had water ingress in the engine room, but the flooding could be controlled with pumps.

On November 27, the 20 meter long passenger ferry Rypøy ran aground near Sandværodden, Norway. The catamaran had run onto a reef requiring all four passengers to be evacuated.  The crew remained on board when a tug was able to refloat the Rypøy on the following high tide. The Rypøy was towed to Sandnessjøen to be inspected. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.
