The 18 meter long, 97 gt vessel Seifjord became disabled in Lukk Sound near Løfallsstranda, Norway. The Seifjord had suffered engine failure and went adrift.  The crew quickly dropped anchor and requested assistance. A NSSR lifeboat along with the Norwegian Coast Guard was reported to have responded. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.

The 35 meter long fishing vessel Kas Ken HG-77 became disabled off Gonvika, Norway. The Kas Ken HG-77 went adrift in 5 meter waves when its propeller became fouled by its own net.  The 4 man crew was pulling up the net when it jammed into the vessel’s propeller.  The crew requested assistance with the Coast Guard vessel and NSSR lifeboat responding. The rescue boats arrived and took the Kas Ken HG-77 under tow back to Gonvika.  There the net was cut free by divers. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.

The 27 meter long fishing vessel Geir Roger became disabled under a bridge at Tromsø, Norway. The  Geir Roger was pushed against the bridge piers by strong winds and strong currents and began to list. The NSSR lifeboats were dispatched to the scene. The nearby vessel Barents Ocean arrived on scene and was able to pull the Geir Roger past the bridge.  Authorities later inspected the fishing vessel for damage.
