Anke Angela
The 82 meter long, 1735 dwt freighter Anke Angela went aground near the island of Öland, Sweden. The Swedish Coast Guard responded and an arieal inspection showed no signs of pollution released into the water. Damage to vessel will be determine after a more detail inspection of the vessel. The inspection will determine how the Anke Angela will be salvaged. Reports state two crew of the freighter were suspected of being drunk at the time of the incident. These crewmen were taken ashore to be tested for alcohol. No reports of injuries to any of the six crew on board.
