The 110 foot long passenger ship Tails of the Sea went aground in Frechman Bay near Hancock Point, Maine.  The vessel had been moored near Bar Island when high winds caused the Tails of the Sea to break its mooring line.   The winds swept the vessel onto the shoreline during hide tide.  There were no injuries as no one was on board at the time of the incident.  The Coast Guard responded sending personsel to the scene.  Booms were on site to contain any pollution, but the passenger ship suffered no significant damage.  The Tails of the Sea was refloated on the next high tide and proceeded under its own power to Southwest Harbour where it would be inspected and repaired.  The Tails of the Sea had been operating whale watching tours in the area.
