The vessel contacted authorities who dispatched the lifeboat Emmy Dyvi to the scene. The lifeboat took the Nordstjernen under tow and proceeded to Trovik, Norway. No reports of injuries of the 34 passengers or 30 crew on board. The vessel had a replacement pump flown to Trovik to repair the engine. No damage or pollution released.
