On August 27, the 109 meter long reefer Green Egersund allided a floating dock at the shipyard in Gydnia, Poland. The hull was breached including one of the fuel tanks. Reports state heavy fuel oil spilled into the harbour.  No injuries reported.

The 165 meter long, 17042 dwt container ship Godafoss allided with a jetty at while attempting to enter the port of Swinoujscie, Poland.  The vessel then went aground and remained stuck until several tugs were able to refloat the vessel.   The Godafoss was escorted into the port where divers inspected the hull for damage.   No reports of injuries or pollution released.  Damage to the jetty was reported around $180,000 (USD).   The Godafoss was allowed to leave port the following day as it continued on its voyage to Aarhus.
