On February 9, the 83 meter long ro-ro passenger ferry Tourist Ferry Boat Primo ran aground in the Tyrrhenian Sea on Ischia Island, Italy. The vessel had departed from Casamicciola with 8 fuel-trucks and drivers with 7 crew.  The ferry was blown ashore after suffering engine problems. A tug was dispatched and attempted to pull the ferry off the beach without success. The Tourist Ferry Boat Primo was released a few days later. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.

The 80 meter long ro-ro ferry Malangen allided with the pier at Vannøy, Norway. The Malangen was maneuvering when strong winds pushed the ferry into the pier. The vessel sustained a gash in the bow. No reports of injuries or pollution released. The Malangen proceeded to a shipyard in Tromsø for repairs.

On January 31, 2015, the 79 meter long ro-ro passenger ferry Gunesli ran aground in the Marmara Sea near Tatlisu, Turkey. The Gunesli had been at anchor off Bandirma when a storm approached from the southwest causing the vessel’s anchor to drag. The Gunesli drifted ashore. No reports of injuries or pollution released. No further details reported.
