The Colorado had become disabled after suffering engine failure when it entered the Maas River from the Hartel Canal. The crew attempted to drop anchor, but the vessel swung and struck the bridge. Work on the bridge was halted until it could be inspected. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.
