The 81 dwt fishing vessel Sergiy Radonezhskiy ran aground in Oprichnik Bay near Kamenka, Russia.The trawler had sustained hull damage with several 200 centimeter cracks resulting in some water ingress. Nine of the 10 crew were taken ashore while the master remained on board. No reports of injuries or pollution released. Reports state a salvage vessel was on scene to assist in recovery efforts.

The 114 meter long cargo vessel Volgobalt 229 ran aground on the Neva River, Russia. The Volgobalt 229 was en route to Lake Ladoga from St. Petersburg when it struck bottom. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released. The vessel was later released the following day and continued on its voyage.

The 126 meter long, 4673 dwt ro-ro cargo vessel Kompozitor Rakhmaninov was reported to be aground on the Volga-Caspian Sea Canal on June 4. The cargo vessel had struck bottom near the 132 kilometer mark on the canal. The Kompozitor Rakhmaninov was able to be refloated a short time later and proceeded on its voyage to Anzali, Iran. No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.
